Some information I got from the web has an Enoch Asbury Enochs (b. Feb. 24, 1821) as a son of John Rumley Enochs and Mary Steen. According to the same source, John Rumley Enochs was son of Enoch Enochs (b. Dec. 11, 1767). Both Enoch Asbury Enochs and Enoch Enochs (father of John Rumley Enochs) are probably too late to be the uncle of my ancestor, Mary Ann Enochs. The John Enochs who is her father would probably have been born between 1732-1762.

I don't know how accurate the web info I cited above is (I haven't been able to contact the page's owner); so, if you have information on ancestors of your Enoch Asbury Enochs, I would be interested to compare them and to know if you are referring to the same Enoch Asbury Enochs I mentioned above.
