Our family members that are interested in the geniology of the Enochs family said that in Germany/Holland the name was Enochson and some dropped the son and became Enoch and some dropped the on and became Enochs. They came to North Carolina and branched out to Kentucky and Illinois. We have never herd of Enox, but our family in Detroit pronounce it Enox, we pronounce it Enix.
