I also am a descendent of Richard Enos (born 1693), by his daughter, Mary Enos. She married Robert Mitchell, and ended up in Bedford Co., VA.

My big question is: who is Richard's father? Many claim that Richard is the son of Joseph Enos (Eno, Hennot)of the CT branch of Hugenot emigrants. Douglas Richardson and Joyce Mortison have both written books about James Eno of Windsor, CT and descendents. They both claim that Joseph Enos(Eno) had no son named Richard. I've corresponded with Mrs. Mortison. She has found no son named Richard.

Do you have any thoughts on this subject?
