Well, perhaps, and I wish you well. Time was one thing I didn't have, already being well into my 70s when I started. Here's an example of the kind of thing you confront in addition to that famous/infamous fact that some Enroughtys spell their name that way and call themselves Darby and some Darbys spell their name that way and call themselves Enroughty: some of the Enroughtys lived on the east of Richmond. (See a modern-day map; you may spot Darby road.) Two separate times war ravaged that area with fire and the records are scarcer than hen's teeth: British cavalry in the Revolution, Union forces decades later. Court houses, churches...all gone. And I'll keep looking in case something you post matches something I have.
