From "Your Family Tree," Vol. 22, No. 3
ENYEART, WILLIAM, late of Hopewell, Will dated June 12, 1828, prob. October 1, 1828. Wife Jane; children: John, William, Elizabeth intermarried with Joseph Norris; Mary intermarried with Isaac Vandevander; David; James; Silas; Joseph; Thomas; Catherine intermarried with Peter Heifner; Benjamin; Jane intermarried with William Wilson; Rachel intermarried with John Heifner; Sarah intermarried with William Masden; Ann intermarried with David Corbin; Martha intermarried with John McMonagel; Rebecca intermarried with Adam Heifner; Eloner; Margaret; and Abraham. Exrs.: wife and Isaac Vandevander. Wits.: John Patton, John Anderson and Jonathan Fink. Huntingdon Co. Will, Vol 3, p. 261.
And actually, the William Masden I was previously referencing is the grandson of Elizabeth Enyeart Norris and Joseph Norris. Their daughter Sarah (?) married Jonathan Masden and had sons William and John between 1794 and 1800. So would a woman (Sarah Enyeart) have married her own grand-nephew? Even if they were about the same age? Nah.
I do have another William Ma(r)sdon, who died about Oct. 1825 in Wayne Twp., Mifflin Co. He was the brother of Jonathan Masden. One son, John, is mentioned in the will abstract, no wife, but a housekeeper, Jean Bratton. You wouldn't think this would be the right one, either.
