seeking ancestry of John EPLER (born 1812) and Rachel ERMON who married 1 Dec. 1834 in Brecnock Twp., Lancaster County, PA. they resided in Cumru Twp., Berks County, PA in the Mohnton/Grill area near the Allegheny Church. the marriage record comes from the "Reading Adler" and ERMON is a possible mispelling of the real maiden name of the wife. among their sons was one Jonathan EPLER who married Elizabeth STEFFEY. a search of church records in Berks Co. has not yet produced any results for their parents. several family members are buried in the Allegheny Church and the Mohnton Cemeteries. not ancestors, but those of a friend in Berks County. thanks.
