Mary Ann Epley, daughter of George and Eliza Epley, died after the 1900 census was taken. I believe the following reference is her: Mrs. Mary Joy April 9, 1911, Ft. Huachuca Cemetery, Cochise Co, AZ. Her husband David died before 1900 and I believe the following reference is him: Coconino Sun: David Joy, herder, is found frozen to death 25 miles north of Winslow Ja/21 3/1/1888. Their son Richard was killed in a mine explosion about 1891. So far we have found no reference to their daughter Alice. Their son Carson "Kit" Joy was an outlaw in New Mexico and Arizona. Has anone found David and Mary Joy on the 1870 census?
