I found the following obituary in an old family scrapbook, and am hoping it will be helpful info for someone!
Bangor, Dec. 20, 1935---, WINFRED I. ERB, 63, widely known throughout eastern Maine as proprietor of Perry's Studio in this city for the last 24 years, died suddenly at his establishment today.
Mr. Erb had taken pictures of many famous people during his career. At various times he was engaged in photographic work in Old Town, Millinocket, and Pittsfield. He is survived by a son, WALTER B., of Old Town; two daughters, MRS. EDITH HENDERSON OF CANADA, AND MRS. STANLEY FOSTER of Brewer; two half sisters, MRS. MATILDA DREW OF St. John, and MRS.ANNIE FOWLER of Tacoma, Washl, and a brother, the REV. HARRY S. ERB of Thorndike.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
