I'm wondering if your family might be a branch off of my tree. I only know my grgrandfather, Matthias Erb came from Weurtemberg and received his naturalization papers in Red River, Ohio, year unknown. I understand his children were: John(my grandfather), James E., Regina, Catherine, and perhaps others. His wive passed but I don't know whether it was in Germany or the states. I know James E. lost his wife, Mae on February 12, 1906. She was 20 years old. Hearsay is that James then left the Wathena, Ks. area and headed west with a long-rifle and buckskins. If any of this sounds familiar, please contact me. Thanks much
