I am related to the GEORGE LUDWIG family. His daughter Barbara had a son in 1840 named PETER ERB. The father's name was JOHN ERB, he died befor Peter was born (at Reamstown East Calico PA). Peter then was raised till age 14 by George and Rachael Ludwig. I have him listed in the census as Peter Erb Ludwig with the George as the head of household. When his grandfather George died Peter went to live with his uncle WILL LUDWIG. I have no info on Barbara after Peter's birth. I don't know if she died shortly after child birth or re-married and then left her son with her parents to raise. If anyone may have any info on her that you could share please contact me. I have much on George and Rachael but can't find anything on BARBARA LUDWIG ERB. I also have no infomation on JOHN ERB. I need to make the conection to the right ERB father/family he came from also. This took place in Reamstown East Calico PA. So I know the ERB's must of lived in the area also but can't make the conection to the right family. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
