Information on Ernest that came to America on the Constitution in 1848?

Hello,

My Great Aunt and I have been trying to do extensive work on our Ernest side of the Family. I am looking for any other person(s) whom we may be related too? The information I have is in quotations below.

"The Constitution sailing from Bremen, Germany, arriving in New York 9/17/1848. Carl (Carl is Charles in German) traveled with the family of Adam Ernest (probably cousins). Both are listed as "tinners". Both are listed as from
Sachein(sp) Weimar. Both shown as going to Bufflo. Both arrive in Milwaukee, WI. and work as Tinners. Adam (older one) started a "tinner business)."

If anyone has the same information in relation to a Carl or Adam Ernest or Ernst from Germany and sailed to America from that time please let me know? It is possible we may have distant cousins from the Milwaukee area today?

brci@email.com

Thank you.

B Ernest
