I am researching the Escamillo's but I do know there are a lot of mis-spellings on documents and in fact in this branch of the family some go by Escamilla and some Escamillo I have run into a wal with Ricardo Escamillo born in Santa Rosalia, Mexico in 1850 spouse Maria Genoveva Gonzales and children Jesus, Maria, Delfina, Saturnino Sr, Manuel, maybe more, but I cannot locate a birth certificate or baptism record for Ricardo, He immigrated to Smeltertown, El Paso, Texas and died in 1903 and was buried in the Smeltertown cemetery that is no longer used. He broke horses and possibly worked in the steel mill. Please contact me if you have any info.
