The ESCH family I seek---

Johann Adam ESCH b. 1823, Rivenich, Prussia; d. bet. 1880-1885
+ Catharina PAULY b. 1834, Ensch, Prussia; m. 1861; d. 1890, Ashland, PA
They immigrated in August 1880, with 3 sons: John Adam (1864-1893), Nicholas (1867-?), & Mathias (1877-?).

When the son, John Adam, died (1893), his widow, 2 sons (John & Louis), along with his brothers, Nicholas & Mathias, went to Philadelphia.
In the 1900 Census, Nicholas was a shoemaker; Mathias, a tailor.
In subsequent census years, I have found a Mathias, who is married to Leopoldina & has 4 children.

Is this your Mathias George?
Thanks.
Chris
