Lowney, I don't know if you have already gotten the information you wanted on Joseph Eschete and "Lony" Eschete. Joseph Eschete would be the brother of my great grandmother, Marie Emelina Eschete Pellegrin. In May of this year, I sat down with my mother, the former Theresa Rhoda LaBorde, and took some notes on this line of my family. Unfortunately, I haven't organized them yet or entered what I have into my database. I wanted to use the notes to see what I could find online, reasons being there was no order to her recollection and I know that my mom's memory is not always 100% accurate.
In any event, Joseph was married to Ellen Cuneo (my mother pronounced it "key-no". She said their children were Horace, Wilkerson, Loney, Howard, Rita, Leona, Shepherd, Wade and W__________ (don't know if this could be Walter). Rita married a Fanguy. She said that last she knew, Walter was still living. I do not live in the same city as my mom, so if you will zero in on your questions, I will call her and pick her brain again. Also, I wonder if Loney is a nickname for Leona.
Linda Daughtry LeBoeuf
P.S. Is your name pronounced "lone-knee"?
