I also viewed your post on your Grandfathers twin.
My Grandfather was his twin his name was Melvin Paul Eskew. They also had a sister named Alma Lee. I heard all about your grandfather growing up from my grandfather. He died in 1996. They were not identical twins and they were in the navy together in WW2. He use to tell me stories about Marvin (thats what he called him not George) use to kill their mothers cats because their mom like the cats more than her two sons.
My grandfather had 6 kids one boy and 5 girls, 13 grandkids, around 24 great-grandkids and 1 Great-Great grandchild.
He married Lena Mae Brink and her mother was Gracie Lee (Lassiter)Brink...
He told all of his kids they were not allowed to date anyone in Waco because they were related to everyone.
To my knowledge their sister Alma Lee is still alive.
**** I have the family bible purchased for Winnie Belle Williams Eskew (Melvin and George's mother) in 1930. In the back is a detailed family tree from both the Eskew and Williams sides going back to 1833. I can send you photo copies if you would like.
Side note: Winnie was called "Honey" by her grandchildren, and her husband Guy R. was called Papaw.I have a few of her favorite recipe's passed down.
