It is most likely she married into the family of John Essery or Joseph Essery that settled in Canada about 1838. They did settle in the area she is looking in. Is it possible she was married before marring Mr Essery. I have a Jane Westlake that married a William Essery on 7 Nov 1830. I also have several others that Had children, but wives names are unknown. There are other family lines in America, but none are in that area that we know of. There are Meek and Meeks in these family lines, but no Jane at this time.
