Keziah - Conflicting Data

Keziah Ezra/Esra/Essery married to a Benjamin Shoots on December 16, 1827 in Ross Co. Ohio.

From data found online, there appears to be quite conflicting information on this couple.

1) "On 23 Feb 1845, Benjamin Shoots & Jerusha McGill were married. He had lost his 1st wife, Keziah Esra, in 1844. BENJAMIN & KEZIAH HAD 6 CHILDREN. Benjamin & Jerusha had 5 children. "

2) Keziah Esra of Ross County, Ohio, was widow of Abner Esra. "Keziah married Benjamin Shoots in Ross County in 1827, but she is recorded in the 1830 census in Ross County as Keziah Ezra (I looked at the census image: She was 50-60 years old - birth then between 1770-80)). She married Benjamin Cave in Ross County in 1836, and is recorded in the 1850 census in Ross County as Keziah Cave (age 77, b. NC)."

3)Buried in the Harper Cemetery, Rushcreek Twp, Logan Co, IL:
Keziah (Kezia, 1777-1811 (wife of B. Shoots); (making her around 34 at time of death)
Shoots, Benjamin, 29 Jan 1807-30 Mar 1884 (husband of Jerusha Shoots)
Shoots, Jerusha, 19 Jul 1818-11 Mar 1887 (wife of Benjamin Shoots)
(According to this, if this Keziah was the widow of Abner, she could not have married Benjamin (who married Jerusha) because she had been dead a number of years before this marriage would have taken place!)

Such conflicting information! I'm thinking that there had to be more than 1 Keziah Esra around Ross County.

One of them was the Widow of Abner Esra and she is the one shown on the 1830 census. Possibly the same who married to Benjamin Cave.

Another Keziah married to Benjamin Shoots, however, it may have been Benjamin Shoots Sr and a son of this Benjamin's (aka Benjamin Jr) who married to Jerusha.
I would assume that this Keziah may also have been a relative to Abner, possibly a sister? but not his widow.

Thirdly, and not mentioned above, there was also other data found that a Keziah Essery is reputed to have married a Charles Friend. This Keziah is reputed to have been born 1778; Death: 1850. Charles d. in 1824, then Keziah remarried to Benjamin Cave...

Can anyone confirm my suspicions or offer data, to a reasonable probability, that would identify all these Keziah's???

Thanks

Sue
