Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I have Esslinger's from Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakata, California, Oklahoma and Australia. Also have many ancestors back to 1600 with many branch members decendents unaccounted for. If your ancestors came from the Neckar Valley in what is now Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, we would be related. Please let me know what part of Germany your ancestors came from if you know. If you don't know, and could give me the name of the oldest Esslinger you have, I may be able to match it to a name I have. I have many names from the 1600's, 1700's and 1800's.
