Herr Erhard Esslinger,
I can send you a (PDF) line of my descent from Hans Esslinger, born about 1505 in Aufhausen, Heidenheim, Wurttemberg, Germany. His son Anthoni 'Thoni' ESSLINGER married Eva Op den Graeff De GRÖBEN in 1551. My Esslinger ancestors were from the small villages near Heidenheim, north of Ulm.
On 19 Sep 1749 Christian ESSLINGER, born 28 Aug 1703 in Zang, Heidenheim, Wurttemberg, came with his wife and family to the American colonies on the English ship "Patience", and settled in North Carolina Colony.
In the next several generations the family dispersed in many directions across the country.
My email address is:
garysmith@cal.berkeley.edu

Mit freundlichen gruessen,
Gary
