I think part of the question about Thomas Estabrooks can be traced to some erroneous published information. There is an old article in the NEHGS register which claruifies errors in Estabrook genealogy and in Savage's information on Thomas. Savage makes the error of stating that Thomas of Concord had a child in Swansea. Thomas of Concord married Sarah Temple in 1683. This Thomas died in 1720/1. There was also a Thomas Estabrooks of Swansea who m bef 1668, Sara __?__. That Thomas had 4 children, John b.1668, Thomas b. 1670, Elizabeth b. 1673, and Sara b. 1575.

Thomas of Swansea d. in 1713, is buried in Kickemuit Cemetery, and was about 84 when he died.

Savage erroneously said that Elizabeth b. 1673 was the daughter of Thomas of Concord, brother to Rev Joseph Estabrook of Concord. This may account for some of the problems in tracing the Estabrook lines.
