I was taking some looks at rootsweb and ancestry.com and yes the initial Estabrooks line goes back to Europe as does some of the spouses in earlier generations, but some of the spouses from the 1800's do not have traced lineages, namely the Fletcher's (Maria Fletcher married to Ebenezer, and Judith Fletcher married to David), none of the family trees I have compared to have record of either of the Fletcher deep lineages, perhaps Metis ancestry came in via them?
