Hello,
My family were also Jewish and lived in or near Reval (now Tallinn) in Estonia as my great grandfather Yaacov Alexander Adler was born there in 1846 or 1848. I have found some info that it may be Tartu and I am still investigating. My grt-grt grandfather was called Gershon Leon Adler.
Don't know whether any of this is of any interest?
