In older church books in Estonia the fathers name is always first. in this case "Hansu Joosep" means that Joosep is Hans' son. The mother is Mari b. Liikane. She is from Sagandi in Vigula parish. Vigula parish "personaal books" are from 1881 and newer. Therefore it will not be easy to trace Mari Liikanes ancestors. The first link I sent you about Ripman was from such a book.

Their marriage: March 14? 1865
