he was born in revel russia on 16-03-1887 (now called tallinn estonia). served in australian army WW1 in gallipoli & western front. discharged 18-04-1919.
died in sydney australia 19-02-1952 ashes said to be scattered in sydney harbour. search for death certificate reveals there isn't one. registry searched from 1948-1957 and found nothing. possibly has changed his name.
