Dear Norma Thibault,

Alfred Karl Luther was born November 6, 1892, on the island Naissaar near Tallinn. His parents were Hinrik Karl Luther, b. March 8, 1855 and Rosina Dorothea Ambrosen, b. September 9, 1856.

His ancestor Mårten Kristoffersson Luther, b. ca. 1715, came to Naissaar from Finland.

I have obtained the information above from the book "Naissaare Pölised Perekonnad" (The old families on Naissaar) by Erik Schmidt.
