Cindy,
I was very happy to receive your e.mail, more than the night I descovered your message on Genealogy.com/Estonia. So how is your mother? Did she know she hd family in France now? On my part, I'm so surprised to read Mrs Lydia Milani Sirol's story... I'm so confused to know how was the terrible "road" she has followed from Valga to Chicago... Does your Mum had coming back one time in Estonia? Does she speaks of that once? When you write me her father's first name was Louis (We say LOO'WE in french!) I was smiling... My grand father's -in my father's side- had the same first name! He was born in Toulouse but tonight, I can't tell you when... My father was born also in Toulouse, in 1930 and died in 1983. Myself, I was born in...Toulouse, February 21rst 1958.
I was so excited (: to find your mail on Estonia GenForum (Thank's to the team!) So, the same night last week, I decided to make other very hard researches on the net. And listen that!
I have written one week ago letters -in english and in spanish- hoping to receive news at the end of the month frome those persons:
- Linda Sirol, Bachelor of engineering (Environmental) Australia + Sabine Sirol, Chimical doctor, Spain + Loris Simon, a kid from Houston, who wrote a little poem which began by these words: << My goddess'name is Sirol >>.
Just one words more, inviting you to tell to your mother that: In the 60', my father decided to make some researches in the Pari's biggest public library, trying to get informations on the very far roots and history of our family name. And I remember he tolds me when I was 14 or 15 this: He finaly finded Sirol "branches" till the XVI° century!! At these times, because the France's Kingdom needs a lot of money to make wars, Sirol bought what we call a family "bougeois tittle badge" with a rural range (Farm and fields) from the Kingdom in exchange of some Louis d'Or (Gold money)... The other thing that my father told me, surprising me I guess: The Sirol are very very very far cousins of Mr Jules Vernes, a very popular novel author in Europe...
Bu now, << because of Lydia Milani >> is coming a new question: Are the Sirol coming from Estonia to West Europe and went to South West of France to stay?

I use actually a computer of a friend of mine's as I ever told you I beleive, and if you're OK I will be very happy to exchange letters, photos, etc... with your mother and you, by post office. I gave you there, my address (Bertrand Sirol - "Les Grès" - 26230 GRIGNAN - FRANCE)
please, just tell me if you agree for that on your next e-mail on my private mail address. I don't like to write as I do now on the "coldest way" to write to somebody... But in the same way, I love internet to find what I need sometimes
... and to find Sirol relatives, of course!!
As on Columbo TV serie, I had forgotten something else! To give you the name of my daughter: Not Milani, but Melissa! She was born in Montréal (Canada) october 11th 1987...

Keep in touch an say "Hello(:" to your Mummy. Bertrand
