Bud EVANS-- Mary BURNETT (BURNNETT)
Hi, I'm seeking information on Bud EVANS born approx. 1863 in North Carolina, and his wife Mary BURNETT born approx. 1866 in Tennessee.
I want to find Mary Burnett's (Burnnett?) parents, and Bud Evans' parents.
Mary had a sister who often lived near them(supposing families traveled together for work)--family stories say Mary's sister had twins, triplets and then twins again. This is an unusual story/information that may be passed down in families.
The birth of their children give somewhat of a timeline:
In 1888 they lived in North Carolina(Lillie was born).
Approx. 1890 in they lived in Tennessee(Hugh was born).
By 1902, they lived in Kentucky(Frank was born.)
Family stories say Mary was killed being thrown from a horse. She was alive in the 1920 census. By the time Bud passed away, in 1936, Harlan County--he was listed as a widower.
Family stories say their little son Parson was killed; attacked and eaten by a wild boar. This may be a story someone would recall.
Lillie's deceased husband was Joe Badger. He died at age 27. Lillie then became Lillie Lane; passing away at age 52 in Harlan County,Kentucky just 4 years after her father.
