I am looking for information on the following family members.
Robert Evans b. abt 1820 Kentucky (husband)
Eliza Jane b. abt 1829 Indiana (wife)
William R. Evans b. 1862 Illinois (son)
Robert and Eliza were married 14 June 1849 Vigo, Indiana the date is right but there seems to be some disagreement about Eliza's last name. It was either Carnell or Cornell.
I found Robert and Eliza J. in the 1850 census living in Linton, Vigo county, Indiana.
I have William R. from 1900 on but I would like to find some earlier records
I just can't seem to find them in the 1860 or 1870 census, maybe I'm missing something. Any information would be great.
