So, you're saying I can rule out a son of Josiah Evans as poss first husband to Amelia? I was gonna take 1790 census & then 1800 census & see who came up missing- a big undertaking with much rm for error. I don't want to list a poss husband who actually just moved instead of died! Talk about embarrassing... I think this Evans & Amelia had children, but of course I don't know. For 1800 Kershaw Co SC census, Robert Davis home seems like too many kids for a couple assumed to have married by 1795 or 1798. Amelia & Robert had 2 known provable sons, listed as only surviving children in Roberts RW pension app- they were Joseph & Rosier. We don't know what happened to Joseph. For this 1800 census, there were two female slots that could be dau- if they were dau, then I'm thinking they were Evans. I do not know anything else on Amelia. I know she was dead by 1830. Let me know if you can point me anywhere. I'm just curious & looking for leads on Amelia. We do not even know her maiden name. Paula in MS Notify Administrator about this message?
