Yes, I have considered this alternative. I do not know if any of the 1800 census age ranges for poss children are Evans or Davis children; all I can prove is 2 sons via the Davis marriage. Per Robert's RW pension app, he married Amelia about 1795-8. So I do believe some of the children in 1800 are Evans. All I can say is Amelia (ifthe slots are her children & not other relatives or non-relatives)lost many children, names unknown. If Robert had been married twice, I think he would have mentioned that in his RW pension app- why mention only one dead wife?? The app only says surviving children ROSIER & Joseph Davis- we do not know what happened to Joseph. the app also states children by said wife [Amelia]. So I just have to take it like it is, I guess & wonder! Thank you so much Paulain MS.
