Because of the first name, Peter, I would look at the descendants of Johann David Iffland, b July 21, 1675 in Mecklar Hesse, Germany, married in Hunterdon Co., NJ to Anna Maria Unknown. Johann had three sons, John (born in 1716), Peter (born in Sussex Co., NJ 1718), and Frederick (born in Hunterdon Co., NJ 1790). The three sons' surname was spelled Efland, later Eveland. The youngest son Frederick and his wife Ann Woolever had a son Peter born abt 1760. I have this same Peter of abt 1760 married to a Rebeccca Unknown. I have no more data on the 1st son, John. (I am descended from the 2nd son, Peter and have more data on his line; there was no son Peter mentioned in his will.)
