Donald's email address is obsolete. This is the line I am researching, however. I'm trying to put a pin in some distinctions in the lives of Peter's sons David and John. One of them was Catherine Efland's father. She used that spelling at her marriage, later, Eveland. David Ephlin was her bondsman on 9 March, 1819 in Orange,NC. As he used a different spelling of the surname, he may well be the uncle.
