Hi Richard,
I do have some information on this gentleman--someone sent it to me because my dad remembers a bishop in the family. William Perry Eveland was born 2/12/1864 in Harrisburg, Pa, son of John C. Eveland and Mary McAleer. He was a Methodist ministe, missinary bishop of the far east. He married on 10/12/1893 Rosalie C. Mullin, daughter of Hon. Charles H Mullin, of Mount Holly Springs, Pa. Mr Mullin was in the paper business. Rosalie had four sisters, Mrs Bosler of Carlisle, Pa, Mr. J. Austin Brandt of Harrisburg, Pa, Miss Alice Mullen and Miss Evelyn Mullen of Mount Holly Springs, Pa. I have copies of newspaper clippings that came out at the time of his death that were sent to me by Dolores Y. (Buell) Eveland. The funeral services were held at the home of Charles H Mullin, father of Rosalie. Mt Holly Springs archives might be a place to check records. Hope this helps
