Thanks for answering my message. I have a small amount of info on Johann David Iffland which I found through the LDS library. This info you sent may help clear up some questions.

You mentioned Hudson River settlements. To what towns, areas, etc. were you referring? Also, do you have a date when David Yslant was shown on the embarcation list in NY? Was he from Germany?
