Campbell / Eveland

Hey Everybody... I have a puzzle I need help solving:
I found a 1907 Wilkes-Barre newspaper article about the death of a Mrs. John Campbell. The article references Mrs. Campbell's brothers Ferguson Eveland(my great great grandfather), Abraham Eveland, George Eveland and Isaac Eveland as well as a sister named Mrs Henry Naugle who I am pretty confident is Eliza Eveland. These are all children of John (b. 1802) and Susannah Pealer Eveland. The problem is that I can't identify which Eveland Mrs. Campbell is. Based on the date of the article and her age at the time of death she would have been born around 1824 which would make her one of the oldest children of John Eveland of Fishing Creek, Columbia County. All records I can find show Peter as John and Susanna's oldest child except for one..... the 1840 census shows one additional Free White Female 15 & under 20 which would be the right age bracket for this Mrs. John Campbell. The 1840 census also shows another male about the same age as Peter. Since neither of these siblings is in the 1850 census I have to assume they are the oldest two and have subsequently moved out of the house by 1850. So, who is Mrs. John Campbell and who is her missing brother?
I'm hoping that someone out there might have the answer to this mystery or, if not, are as intrigued by it as I am.
