Hello, A B Craig:

I was very interested to read your posting regarding old Eveland records. I have just (last night!) begun looking into that branch of my family.

My great-great-grandfather was Samuel Eveland, parentage unknown. His daughter, however, often told my father that the Evelands were Pennsylavania Dutch.

I am looking for any information on Samuel Eveland, who married Ann Cattanach on September 27, 1871 in Port Stanley, Southwold Townhip, Elgin County, Ontario, Canada.

Thank you.

Susan Rucastle
