The Gregath Publishing Company is sponsoring a three day-long, all inclusive retreat geared toward the people who enjoy genealogy and history. The time and place are as follows: Friday through Sunday, October 19-21, 2007, at Sky Ranch at Cave Springs near Miami, Oklahoma. Registration is from $75-$150. Admission is limited, but if space is available at the door, it will be $25.00 excluding lunch and text. Three day, all inclusive retreat featuring several speakers and topics on genealogy and family history. An excellent opportunity to learn new techniques and network with people who share the same interests. Early slated speakers and topics include Genealogical Proof Standard by Randy Scott, Genetic Genealogy (DNA) by Sherrell Buchanan, American Migration Patterns - Waterway Routes by Steve King, Layered History by Sharolyn and Patrick McCoy. Friday afternoon will be devoted to scrapbooking and associated skills, presented by award winning scrapbookers, Shirley Ratliff and Luretta Williams.
