Joseph Everist, May 16, 1744 Calvert County, Maryland. He died May 24, 1795. His family originated in the village of Everaux, France. Sometime prior to the 1500's they crossed the Channel and settled in the area of Kent Co. England by the White Cliffs of Dover. They farmed an area known as parsonage Farms which is in the William the Conqueror's Domesday Book listed as the "Hundred" which consited of 12,000 acres. There is an Everist Ave. which goes by the prominent Everist Vault in the Churchyard.

Any help would be appreciated. I think the spelling could have been Everest earlier.
