Wow! You are talking about my uncle Carmel here...still living near Repton with his wife Martha Lee and recovering from hernia surgery. He is the only surviving offspring of my grandfather Emmett Ezell (Big Daddy) Evers and his wife Mattie (Big Mama, who I am said to be the image of) and the younger brother of my father Clifford Leonard Evers, the eldest and now deceased, as are my uncles Elmore and Alvin and an aunt I never knew, Lauree (?) (she died of meningitis in her early 20s). I can fill you in pretty myuch on all of my generation and our kids as well if you like!
