He married Mary Lee Nora Mims in 1899. We came across some information that suggests he is the child of a "Roxie Evers Bodifort", but he was illigetimate. Could this possibly be the same Roxie Evers that you mention??? Any help would be appreciated. My grandmother spent MANY years looking, and never found anything.
