Looking for Evers family who came from village of Cookley in Worcestershire, England. My ancestor, gr.gr.grandmother was Myra/Moira Evers, her mother was Susannah Morris and her father was James or William Evers, they had at least 8 children in all, Myra, Ada, James, Zilah, Jesse, Aaron, etc. not sure of all names. I do know that Ada married the family who owned the Bulls Head Inn, a local pub that is still operating. Myra came to USA in 1873-1875 and she had my gr.grandmother Lillian, she was first linked to an Alan Evans, possibly a methodist minister, then she ended up with a Richard Clay around 1879-1880, my gr.grandmother LIllian went by Lillian Clay, although through digging up info, we found her father was in fact Alan Evans and she was born in Elizabeth New Jersey. We thought she was born in Queen, New York City. Anyway, if you have any info or are a relation, please contact me asap. Thank you.
