WILLIAM MARQUART was born in January, l859, and died August 6, l923, at the home of his niece, MRS. J.B. BARTLET, 26 Polk St., Omaha, Neb., being at the time of his death, 64 years, 8 months and 6 days. He leaves to mourn his loss, four sisters and one brother: MRS. L. SIMPSON and MRS. A.L. WARFORD, of Leon, Iowa; MARTHA CHANDLER, of Riverton; MRS. EWALT, of Fremont, Iowa; and GRANT, of Clarinda. Those attending the funeral from a distance were his sister, MRS. JANE SIMPSON and her daughter, MRS. EVA MYERS, of Leon; also his brother, GRANT, of Clarinda. Most of his life was spent in Decatur County. About thirteen years ago, he went to Omaha, Neb., where he made his home until the time of his death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from Brewer's Chapel, Dr. R.L. Wheeler conducting the sermon. Interment in Graceland Park Cemetery.
