I am a decendant of Frank Eubanks born 1837 in KY, lived in Adams County, Ohio abt 1870-1900, brother to Walker Eubanks(Ewbank). I am interested in corresponding with anyone connected to this family.

Walker Eubanks, b.Aug.
14, 1838 in Mason Co. KY, married Catherine Eliz. Rogers in 1874 in Glasgow, MO, died July 1, 1917 in Leavensworth, KS.He was listed as Walker Ewbank in the 39th OH Infantry, Co. 'I,' from Adams Co. OH. He had a sister Sarah, brother Marion F. or 'Frank' Eubanks. Frank's children were Geo. W., James, Oscar, Cyrus, Stephen, John, Sarah, Wm. H., Lizzie.
Walker Eubanks came to Missouri from Mason County, Kentucky after being woulded and discharged from the Civil War (Northern Army) and married Kathleen Elizabeth Rodgers. He may have changed his name to John Parker. All of his children went by the name of Parker (John, Nola, Kathleen Elizabeth and May/Mayme). His wife died six months after the birth of her last child. He raised watermellons on a sandbar in the Missouri River, which has since been washed away. He eventually entered the Old Soldiers Home at Wadsworth Kansas and died there. He is buried in the military cemetery there. His sister lived in West Union, Ohio

I checked the national cemetery for Wadsworth, Kansas.
