Hi Ron,

My maternal grandfather was Albert Frederick Ewens , born in Brighton england in 1892. He married a Florence Romaine. They had two children Florence Eileen born in 1913 ? in Canada and madeline elizabeth born in Brighton in 1920.
They lived in Loder Road for most of their life.
We believe he a younger brother who's name we do not know and an older half sister who's name was Min (shortened) .

We know there are not a lot of Ewns around , likely there is some connection. Would love to exchange further info.
Regards
Phil
