Hi Joanie,
not sure what connection you may have made but I will fill in some more.

Grandfather Albert Frederick Ewens
I have NO names of gr grandparents , my mother was a very closed book with
this stuff.
I know that my grandfather had one brother who supposedly migrated to
Australia, I'm guessing in the 40's.
Apparently died in a motor bike accident.
There was also a half sister who again supposedly kicked my grandfather and
his brother out of the house when my Grand father was 16. Her name was Min
probably Minnie.
She also came to Australia, I don't know when. Hooked up with a guy called
George Bills. May have been his second wife. George is famous in
Australia and parts of US, Canada and Ireland for donations to Animal
welfare and for starting here in Australia the RSPCA.
My grandmother was a Rogers, with numerous brothers and sisters. Dolly and
Queenie (twins and both spinsters), Alice who married a guy named Apps,
Gertrude, Lilly, Bill (william), Frank and Bert(albert).
My gr grandmothers maiden name was Romaine.

My mother was born Madeline Elizabeth Ewens in Dec 1920 I think in Brighton.
She had an older sister by about 7 years. Born in Canada, Seschatuan (not
sure of spelling) Apparently my grandparents move there for a time just
after getting married. She married a Malcolm Hackett.
My Grandparents lived most of their married lives at 151 Loder Road
Brighton. Uncle Bill lived next door until his death in 1984. I visited
him there weeks before he died.

Love to hear from you, ANY connection to start from would be great.
PS can't get your email to work
