I am a granddaughter to Lawrence Henry Ewen.
According to the information I received from my grandfather & information I have gathered, you have a couple of small errors in the names of his parents. Also, he was born as Henry Lawrence Ewen and legally had his name changed apparently when he immigrated to the USA, to Lawrence Henry Ewen.
My grandparents divorced within a couple of years of my mothers birth. I have copies of the marriage license and his immigration documents around here somewhere. I found him via the Internet and spoke with him a couple of years ago, before the death of his 2nd wife.
He apprently was not wanting to become acquainted with my mother, whom he hadn't seen since she was an infant. My mom did write to him and provided him with verification of who she was, but he never responded.
I wonder if his second family may not have know that my mom existed or if he just didn't want to be bothered?
I would love to find out more about this family. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyway, here is a bit of the information you are asking for.
