Ewer/MacEwer DNA project
Posted by: Rob Livingston (ID *****7627) Date: September 15, 2003 at 14:02:59

I am looking for "Ewer" men who might be interested in contributing a sample of their DNA (a bit of saliva from inside the cheek) for a study I am doing on the MacIver clan of Scotland. It is my belief that the English Ewers are actually descended from the Scottish "MacIvers", which in the earliest records is spelled "MacEwer" and "MacYuer". Anybody who is interested may contact me to discuss the idea. Thanks, Rob
