Hi David,

I am a descendant of the Ewer family and can trace back to Willaim Ewer b1809 in Pinner Middlesex.

I have been told of a family tale that we are related to Obadiah Ewer who allegedly was involved in the signing of the death warrant of Oliver Cromwell (apparently a family friend has seen the document in the Tower of London and Obadiah's name is there!)

A wonderful chap contacted me saying he had a lot of history re Obadiah and his family and he sent it to me. This includes wills of Obadiah, John and Henry and also provides the children, spouses etc of all the family. I am having trouble finding the connection between Obadiah and William.

If you would like to see the will translations etc please contact me with your email addrss and I will forward to you.

Kind regards,
