To clarify my previous post. Lemuel EWER along with his son Marshall Goodspeed EWER, left MA and traveled with James LaRoe on a trip to TX in the late 1840's (see LaRoe Manuscript online). Lemuel returns to MA, Marshall remains in TX. Lemuel EWER b ca 1770-75 (wife Abigail). Marshall Goodspeed EWER b 2 Dec 1824 (wife Uvania). Found Marshall on Lamar Co, TX for 1860-70-80 so far, and his grave(d Oct 1893) in Union Grove Cem; Lamar, TX. Found Lemuel in Sandwich, Barnstable, MA 1810-20-30-40-50-60, also as JOP in 1826 and in Militia ca 1814 in MA. So, again, my question. Can anyone familiar with the EWER line, confirm that the Marshall and Lemuel found in the LaRoe manuscript are the same Marshall and Lemuel EWER from Sandwich, Barnstable, MA. If they are, can you head me towards Lemuels father. Many online (with no documentation) say it's the John EWER who m Hannah ROBINSON.
Thank You in advance for your consideration,
