Howdy Cousin!
Sam and Dolly are my ancestors as well. Their son, Sam Jr., is where I fit into the picture. Perhaps we can work on this together. Samuel died in 1812 per our family bible. There is no record of death per inquiry to various Vermont agencies. Dolly sold the land a year later. While I could find that record,I haven't been able to find a record of the original deed to know when they moved there. Curious if he was a Green Mountain Boy and died in the mountains or what. For some reason I was lead to believe Dolly then went to Maine to live with a son.
